FAO Rob@fmttm, issues with bank cards declining.

Just had the same fraud warning when getting parking for Hull game.
I think this needs sorting by the club asap.

This has been going on since at least the Derby game. I called the ticket office to book tickets and my lloyds card wouldn't work. They gentleman on the phone said they were aware of the issue and unfortunately if I didn't have an alternative card I would need to pop into the ticket office as it can be done using chip and pin. I can't believe people are still having these issues.

Lloyds bank check your contact details confirm everything is up to date and then blame Middlesbrough Football Club.

If the club are aware fans need to be updated what is the problem and when it will be resolved. Asap

I had a card rejected at a post office recently. I presume that there are lots of teething issues at the banking end at the moment ahead of today's new regulations.

Yes - I've been seeing it for several weeks at different places.
A major high street bank is blaming Middlesbrough football club.

Middlesbrough football club is blaming WorldPay.

The common theme is a hell of a lot of people have been unable to buy tickets for our poster games at Man U, spurs and Chelsea. It is not good enough.

Rob is going to update us once he has spoke to Middlesbrough football club.

Can anyone go to the supports/fans forum to make representations? Or is it a select few?

Just called the ticket office and the lass I spoke to was completely dismissive and blamed it on WorldPay. No apology offered.
Thorntree- do you still require a ticket. My x1 West Stand Upper adult tkt will most likely be available? I'll find out tomorrow for definite.

I recommend waiting a couple of years before making any purchases from the club. They obviously don't give a Donald Duck about inconveniencing their customers.

I believe Boro fans can go pay cash for home game tickets at the Riverside Ticket office, if any are available.

Club are obviously aware of this now as there’s a message on the ticketing site. It says if your card fails then try again. If it fails again then use a different card. Issues are external and out of clubs control.
-what if you only have 1 card?
-is it really nothing to do with the clubs payment system?

My bank Lloyds are blaming Middlesbrough Football Club. Middlesbrough Football Club are blaming external forces. What are the external forces that are out of the control of the club?

Can the club speak to the banks and find out why?

Is a cash system available?

Almost a bigger farce than the club shop selling out of kits in December.

Try linking the card to your account first. Not sure if that works but my pre-linked card is working.
