Gene - please stop this aggressive way you are pressing this argument. Please let it rest. It is totally unfair on buffaloboro. It is out of all propertion to what is going on here.
Stop and think. How many signed Boro shirts does the Foundation have at its disposal ?
Other supporters groups do this system. They get signed shirts for work donating etc then they raffle them among the members. Sometimes the winner chooses to donate it for charity. The Norwegian supporters do that for their xmas appeal for instance.
But please do not keep on at bb. He doesn't deserve it.
If you want another item to raffle I can try and get one more in the future.

Im not being aggressive at all Rob.

I object to one person making a decision which might not be what the majority want. It should be put to the collective to decide the outcome.

I actually have a job and I am at it now.
Some people have told me they would like the option of the shirt.

you can see for yourself that there are two posters who have said the same thing just today. I too would like the chance to win a signed shirt.
people might want to keep it or they may choose to donate it to another cause or charity that they have a personal affinity to.
And as I said before if at least one person who donated has said that then I think that should be an option. You just seem to want to impose what your view is onto everything. I am trying to be as impartial as possible.
if this is a big issue for you I'llquite happily send you a cheque for the money that you donated.
You can send me your address and I will have it transferred to you today not a problem I'm not going to spend my time arguing on this board about something like this just because you do not agree with it

You couldn't be more wrong. I am not trying to impose my view on anyone.

I am arguing that everyone who donated should be given the option of deciding what we do with the shirts in a clear and impartial way rather than one person making a decision.

Just to make it clear: I'd like one of the shirts raffled amongst the contributors (of which I'm one).

Most people seem to be with you BB. But I understand DCI’s view. The best way to settle this is by everyone who contributed having a say-do we give to charity..or do we raffle(then up to the winner what they do). Buffalo kicked this off with the best intentions and money raised already for club/charity wouldn’t have happened without him but its starting to feel that has been lost already.

Rob has pretty much banned my account - which is fine, I don't know why, I don't have any warnings / he has never contacted me - so if there is a raffle for the shirts...... I would like to be included since I paid money towards it - otherwise Legal action may have to taken, if i'm not included

Legal action? At what stage did anyone say you wouldn't be included?
This is getting ridiculous. All this over one shirt , never again.
What about the people who liked the idea of having a chance of getting the shirt? They should be denied that chance?
We have 2 the club gave one extra so that it could be given to a charity. I believe this is what they did this year. Once again why shouldn't everyone have the chance to own the shirt if they want or to do with it what they will. This has now gone from being a bit of fun ,albeit a lot of hard work, to something that is getting absolutely ridiculous.

Crazy this one guy does something nice and all he gets is stick and frankly bull****.

DCI are you purposely being a d*ck what is the issue you find so controversial.

If I was buff I’d kick you out give you your money back ( that you seem so protective of) and let the grown ups carry on with our “fun project”

Buff I bet you wish you’d never bothered now.

No one is denying those who want the chance of a shirt to have one - all I am asking for is that everyone who donated has a say in it rather than one person seemingly making the decision - is that so unfair?

I struggle to see why you can't understand that all I am asking for is that everyone who donated has a say in what we do - that's all.

Please explain why you think I am being protective of anything to do with money? I have not asked for nor am seeking my money back, nor have I said anything remotely like that.

I believe everyone should be given the chance in a fair raffle - but when Rob is limiting access to the site... well he is limiting me at the moment - it's pretty hard to be involved in the process

I don't know about that. I have everyone's email bar one person and if course everyone will be included, that's the whole point of this.

I understand what you are saying. My point is that by allowing everyone the chance who contributed to win ONE of the shirts then we keep it equitable.
Some may wish the shirts to go to charity. One already is. The second if the person who wins the raffle chooses to do so can also go to whichever charity they want it to go to.
some people quite like the idea of having the chance of winning assigned shirt and that has to be taken into account. If you step back and think about it everyone is benefiting if we do that. We have contributed money to the club. We have one shirt which we can donate to whichever charity people wish to vote upon. And we have another shirt which is a nice little bonus for those of us who gave our own money towards the club. The club obviously give that as part of an incentive.
I have changed the name of the GoFundMe account to the MFC Foundation based upon your recommendation a few weeks ago it is open to anyone to add any more monies towards the foundation. if you look on the GoFundMe page you will see that I donated an additional amount.
I would encourage anyone else to do the same if they want to do so and are able to do so.
It Would not be fair to those who contributed their money to limit their chance to get a little something from this activity.

"What about the people who liked the idea of having a chance of getting the shirt? They should be denied that chance?"

Because they might be in the minority.

I can't see the problem with a vote.

It should be for all 36 people who donated to have a say in what we do with the shirt (and any other future benefits) rather than being left to one person to decide.

If the majority want to have a raffle so that one of the group gets the shirt that is absolutely fine but that should be decided by those who donated.

Will you answer my question or at least tell me why you wont answer. Is everyone who donated a member of this board?

DCI tbh I'm getting tired of this . You don't seem to what to let things go unless it suits what you think should be done.
I've spent far more time on this than I should.
I've explained to you why , with 2 shirts , I and others think that it's fair that one of them is put forward to the group.
It's more equitable as everyone put in the same amount of money . To be frank you've made this go from been a bit of fun and something positive to a pain.
You don't seem to want to think about those who may want the chance for the shirt and that may have been why they contributed.
Finally, I have a job and I'm not your. Personal secretary. You were the only one who wouldn't send me an e-mail and at times expect me to answer you like I'm your PA.
Again, send me your details. And I'll send you money and some extra for your time.
It's. 0718 and guess what, here in the USA we have slightly more pressing.concerns than your thinking a vote on one of two shirts is the best way forward.

Is this your. Modus operandi in life? Just relentless going on until you get what you think suits?
Also , everyone who. Paid, (apart from you who told me that rather than emailing you I could contact you directly on this board again like your PA) has my phone number and they had my email address so they could contact me privately. If you want to speak to me I will give you my phone number and you can call me up.
Again I will say it to you one more time:
1.If even one person wanted to have the chance to have the shirt then that person should be given the chance to do so. That is equitable.
.2 if you are so concerned about charity feel free to donate more money to the foundation like I have done.
3. I'm not sure if everyone who contributed goes on this board. Now you need to go back to 1 and think about that .
I have tried very hard to be polite and answer everyone's questions some people have sent me private emails and not done it via this board.
