How very dare you!!! I have never been soooooo insulted in my life.....Grocer's don't do parmos...
Are you from Sunderland?
I’ve eaten in Michelin starred restaurants and I come out thinking “yeah it was quite nice but why is everyone acting like the world revolves around the place”.
Horses for courses though.
If you like marmite you should try wasabi peas - the Woodbine smokers choiceScraping the bowl of the Trainspotting toilet with a knife and smearing it on toast provides a far tastier and appealing offering than doing the same with a jar of Marmite.
Agree completely if you could replace your daily food intake was a single pill which filled you up and gave you all the nutrients required id take that instead. Food snobbery is nauseating and so are all the weekend tv cookery programmes that hog the schedulesIn general I think people massively overrate food. Obviously there are some things I like, some things I don’t like, but when I hear people getting all excited about going to a particular restaurant or cooking a particular dish I just don’t get it. Even worse, when folk get all uppity about a particular cuisine.
To me, eating is just a bodily function, like going for a p1ss. Some visits are better than others but I don’t get especially excited about it at any given time.

Feel like there could be a middle ground between those positions. There’s a time and a place for route one and for tika taka.Agree completely if you could replace your daily food intake was a single pill which filled you up and gave you all the nutrients required id take that instead. I'm shocked!!In general I think people massively overrate food. You are Donald Trump and I claim my free jar of Pond's #3 Caucasian Hand Pancake Creme. To me, eating is just a bodily function, like going for a p1ss.
Why do you think some people become vegans. Some people just like food a lot more than others.I'm shocked!!

Yes I think that’s true to a degree. I didn’t get enough enjoyment out of food to warrant all the “farming” that went on to feed me. I like crisps, but I don’t really care about much else. Why do you think some people become vegans. Some people just like food a lot more than others.
I think the same. You're not my dad are you? He says exactly the same about a pill.
I think the same.
And yes, hi son.
I used to spend a lot of my time in Manchester when I was younger, mainly the Hacienda with Noelly G. I’ve never told you this before though cos you’re so cynical of him.Hi Dad, didn't know you were such a big fan on Oasis.
That’s one thing I miss a little bit….Pork scratching's are the devils toenails.
I quite like food shows on telly. I think talking about food or watching it being made is probably more enjoyable than actually eating it.I only know of one person I have met who said she didn't like food much. didnt look forward to eating it , didn't like eating it and got no satisfaction from having eaten it . I was gobsmacked, twice over. She said it was mostly go through the motions and refuel just because body needs energy. However she did not mind shopping and preparing cooking food for partner or grown up kids, grand kids visiting etc. So weird . She had no weight issues either way or medical issues or mental issues to explain it . I've always liked food shows on tv and always liked trying new stuff. It's unexplainable the differences in between our outlook
