Going back a few years, the old Pippins on Rush, when it was a proper dive bar open till 3am or later. Always stayed at the Sofitel, so was staggering distance home.

Why did they build a stand that doesn't run along the length of the touchline?

I think the plan was to move the stadium down a bit stand by stand but they never had the money to do it.

I used to be able to see both old and new Brentford ground from my flat in between the two. Now: Nothing.

I do see this magnificent beast everytime I go for a walk mind


If Chelsea had had there way it would have been a football ground. They twice applied to use it as a temporary venue

It's a fairly decent looking ground I like the boxy, solid shape
