What do we think of the Hyundai ioniq 6? On a whim I put myself on the waitlist for the first edition version. Just had a call today saying someone has cancelled an order and asked if I want one very tempted. If only the inside looked as exciting as the outside. If it was closer to the prophecy concept it was based on

Go for it!

Wouldn't you rather get a proper car, one with a proper engine? 🤣

Not sure about the styling to be brutally honest, reminds me if the mk1 Mercedes CLS.

It's 470 bhp do yeah, proper motors. I think that's what appeals to me about the styling thpigj I used to have a Mercedes CLS and I really miss it. My current car is so full to look at

I love the look of the 5.. like an old school futuristic design if that makes sense 🤔.. not so keen on the look of the 6 though personally but if you like it then go for it! Hyundai are at least making proper EV’s rather than ramming an electric motor into an ICE chassis.

Yeah the e-gmp platform is pretty solid. Charging speeds are the very best we can have at the moment. I would never think about Kia or Hyundai before the electrical revolution. I was always a Merc man. But new I look at the one Merc I can afford and think it's pretty poor.

I agree on the 5 I really like the looks. The other half hates it though. And it really affects the economy, being such a brick

It’s not that bad. I average 3.5 miles per kWh and that’s with lots of A19 driving at a brisk pace.
