Fury v Whyte

Who you picking? Fury seems to be overwhelmingly favourite but you can't rule out Whyte so easily.

Hard to believe this could be Furys last fight as well.

I’ll be there tomorrow.

It’s one of them, on the one hand Fury should win easy, on the other Fury is suspetibke to getting floored and Whyte has certainly got the ammunition.

Shame the undercard is woeful, will probably drink in in London and get there about 8.

Think they are both open to an uppercut - Fury when he goes in to clinch and Whyte when he leans in to block a power punch. So can see this going either way. But, if I had to put money on it I’d say it will be stopped by the ref late, maybe controversially, in favour of Fury throwing wildly at a tired Whyte.

Whyte is no fool and has a great left hook and underrated jab. However, Fury will have too much for him. Fury TKO in round 9.

I think this might be a good scrap if Whyte goes for it from the off, which I think he will have to if he is going to win, I reckon this will be a tougher fight for Fury than his last fights with Wilder, as I don’t think Whyte is going to stand back and get his head jabbed off, so I’m going for Whyte win rounds 1-6 14/1 👍🏻

Amazes me people proclaim Fury to be by far the best of this era but he has yet to fight AJ, Usyk, Whyte, Parker, Pulev, Ruiz, Joyce, Povetkin etc etc.

Wilder is overrated garbage. He too has avoided nearly every heavyweight of any substance. His best win was against Ortiz who has beaten absolutely nobody.

Fury's win against Klitschko win 8 years ago was outstanding. But he needs this fight to see how good he really is.

Totally agree

I like both of them, and despite normally wanting Fury to win, I’m not actually fussed who walks away with this one. Will be weird (and probably quite nice) to watch a contest cheering on both sides, for a change.

If Fury isn’t, who is the best of this era?

Do you honestly see the likes of Ruiz, Parker and Pulev giving him much bother?

If he wins tonight what will your view be?

Usyk is the only fight from your list id be interested to see as he’s far better than the others. Obv if Whyte wins tonight I’ll review that!

Not my point, he hasn't even fought them. Heavyweight boxing at top ten level means anything can happen. I've watched a Cruiserweight in Steve Cunningham put Fury on his backside. I've also watched a journeyman in John McDermott beat Fury. Was a robbery. Trust me Fury would not necessarily steam roller through that list.

Like Wilder and Ortiz. Their is a huge collection of heavyweights that Wilder and Fury have not fought. Fury would be favourite against them all probably. But he needs to fight at least some of them to say he is the best.

If Fury wins tonight it will go some way as but he needs to fight AJ and Usyk.

He doesn’t NEED to fight anyone.

As for AJ it’s pretty clear that he/his people don’t want to risk the fight with fury it’s that simple.

As fury has shown he will go anywhere to fight anyone it makes no difference AJ hasn’t.

USYK would be interesting though.

He doesn’t though. He just needs to fight Usyk.

Joshua needs Fury far more than the other way round these days.
