Glen Hoddle: from great footballer and England Manager to this

The disabled comments were naively made during a 'private' conversation. They actually reflected the religious views of billions. It was reported slightly out of context and gave the FA the final excuse they needed to sack him following a catalogue of weird behaviour.
In my opinion, the worst thing he did as England manager was to release excerpts of his book during the World Cup- betraying confidences of players. Especially Gazza's.

He knows his stuff about football, proper weirdo though. He’s an awful co-commentator because he talks as a coach, which is boring and above the head of the average Joe.

It beats doing real work. Fair play to him. That and punditry, cant be a bad way to earn a living.
