Happy finally buying a striker day

The wilder striker thing is a bit of nonsense based on signing two players that haven't worked out yet. McBurnie and Brewster.

Not sure why Brewster hasn't worked out, maybe injuries, because he's clearly talented as his time at Swansea showed. It's worth noting that he's the manager, so the fees, aren't his concern particularly, he doesn't negotiate them. At Boro of course we have Keiran involved in identifying players, so it isn't just Wilders eye. But Wilder has had striking success, he picked up McGoldrick and got him scoring better than ever before, and at Northampton he signed Richards and got 33 goals in 54 starts. So he can pick a striker.

Anyway, Forss, he's a good age, good enough to play now, but young enough to really improve.
Kieran Scott must be having some input at least..

They seem pretty positive about him and that's unusual. Most clubs getting shot of a CF are usually slating him for one reason or another.

"He was great for us in the championship but I always thought using a few different systems in game would of suited Forss. I'm convinced this is a player who'll show when a system is adapted for him, he is a very good striker".

He's young enough. I mean being behind Toney and the BMW isn't a gauge on how good you are.

I like that it's a perm. I understand the financial need for loans yet just think sometimes they lose interest or have an eye on the next move etc.

I'm guessing 3-4mil? Then loads of add ons. Just our luck we sign him and he scores 20-25 goals and everyone wants him. We have to give up a wedge after giving away all of our recent forwards 😂

Forgive me, I can’t find the article that says we’ve signed him.

Some the last post of that banana guy saying Brentford wanting us to get promoted it sounds like a loan with an option to buy, similar to Sporar

When was the lats time we signed a decent player who was a complete surprise?

Was it when Zenden was brought out in front of the crowd?
