Actually quite surprised by that as I can't remember Southampton being in serious relegation trouble. Always meandering round 10-16th in the league.
 
He's done well to keep them in the league to be honest, they always sell their best players and their recruitment hasn't been great since he's been there. They brought in 6 players under the age of 21 in the summer, anyone would struggle with that.
