Help needed choosing a TV, choice of 2

I know there are some tech savvy people on here, so am hoping you can give some help in choosing which tv.
I've narrowed it down to 2, I've looked at the specs I was sent, but mean absolutely nowt to me. Both Samsung, QE55Q60T v UE55TU8500. The UE one is top LED, whilst the QE one is first level QLED. £100 difference. Any help would be appreciated

Big flip, on £100.😁
But what happened to 4 channels, and only difference, does it come off the 4 wheeled frame or not

Difficult in these times but view in a shop. I find super crisp and sharp higher quality a bit wearing on the eyes. I guess there are ways of reducing contrast and sharpness though.

you want AV forums mate, not FMMTM

lots of variables, your budget, what you watch, the environment you watch in, the distance to the screen, required viewing angles, HDR?, HDMI 2.1 for gaming, eArc, etc, etc

The Q60t is quiet old.

personally, I went with Oled. looking at Panansonic, Sony and Philips. Ended up with a great deal on the 55" Philips 934, which has ambilight and a B&W Atmos soundbar included, paid about 1000 for it

And why shouldn't he ask on here? Lots of posters have good advice to give.

I've been looking to replace my Samsung that's started to have problems after about 10 years. Brilliant TV and well worth the £1700 I paid for it.

I figured another Samsung would be the way to go but having read a variety of AV forums it seems that the panels are prone to fogging in very short order. The consensus appears to be that it's a manufacturing fault as there hasn't been a patch released over the past few years to fix it.

I'm currently looking at other options.

you sticking with LED or is Oled an option?

I know nothing about either TV, but a quick search on reviews seems to suggest the UE model is the better unit.

QE55Q60T (https://www.techradar.com/uk/reviews/samsung-q60t-qled-tv)

UE55TU8500 (https://www.personal-reviews.com/2020/05/samsung-ue55tu8500-review-ue55tu8500uxxu/)

Can I throw LG into the mix also. I much prefer WebOS as the software driving the TV as its open source and its really fast and fluid.

Richer Sounds (https://www.richersounds.com/tv-projectors/4k-ultra-hd-tvs.html?brand=24&tv_screen_size_breaks=1368)

I've just read the reviews on the link above, I was hoping it was going to say, buy the QLED, it's this and that, and price is amazing. But it's threw me off. The reason I picked these 2. I've had LG before and it had lots of faults. I've only ever bought from richer sounds, under warranty they are changing my TV. Its a motherboard fault (ahem on Samsung) but I do like Samsungs. I'm adding money to it, to upgrade.
