Edit: Yeah right, I got 5. I did an engineering degree back in the '70s when engineers were universally regarded by the rest of the student population as uncultured, misogynistic, beer-swilling neanderthals. Bit disappointed people didn't dive in on my harmless trolling and call me out. :giggle:

3 and 2 of those were guesses....I'm thick.

I have to say I did get all of a answers on a alien film quiz on Facebook right👍

I was going to say "nobody likes a smart ****" but was worried you'd take it the wrong way 🙅
 
6 I knew three and three guesses. I love watching university challenge it’s like watching a different species of human beings , not only the breadth but depth of knowledge they have at such a young age. I normally get the odd few correct but these kids are something else.

Yeah, I feel like I'm a fairly clued up person, usually absolutely fine with University Challenge, but I hate Only Connect.

I'm terrible at cryptic crosswords and anagrams too, so that sort of thinking is obviously not my strength.

Got 9 on this, though 3 or 4 of those were guesses.

I think I got the US state ones straight away then I was stumped. I had a storming missing vowels round, but usually I either get none of them, or most of them, you have to get in the zone for that round.
 
7, truthfully only 4 known and the rest looking at the question was an educated guess - like the 'keeping the lights on mining thing - or just luck
 
7. 100% certain of only three and logic got the others, but of course you wouldn't have time for logic on the show itself.
