What I fail understand is why we haven’t heard a peep from you on the subject or from @magic or @BlindBoyGrunt or @bumface.

I mean, what's the matter with you all?
It strikes me that you are worried that any criticism you make of Johnson and the Tories will somehow be perceived as support for the Labour Party or god forbid Keir Starmer.

Eh? You're replying to my comment aren't you?

None of them will admit to it mate. The problem is that Starmer and his cronies are no better. I can't vote for anyone right now with a snake like him in charge of The Labour Party.

Starmer who actually prosecuted 4 MP's for expenses fraud and a cabinet minister for lying.

It is clearly left wing, just not as left wing as you are, or Corbyn.
Agree to disagree mate. Just that pesky Overton window again. I'm not hard left. Just left. Same as Corbyn. Starmer isn't left at all. And neither is The Guardian IMHO.

It's almost universally accepted that Starmer has had Johnson's measure for months now and today was no exception.

But you'll still get Labour supporters on here who won't acknowledge that because Starmer's not as left wing as they insist any Labour leader should be.

It's all cobblers.

🤣 ST I always enjoy your posts admonishing others for not having your commitment to left wing politics. I hope you're having a chuckle to yourself when you type them out.
That wasn't what I actually said. I was admonishing left wing posters for their ridiculous attitude of preferring a right wing victory against a left wing victory by someone who is the wrong flavour of left wing. Its ridiculous to me.
At no point did I myself say I was left wing. So stop being silly and playing the man not the ball.

It really isn't. My dog could wipe the floor with Johnson at PMQs. With a proper Labour leader in charge Bozo would be long gone by now.

How would that work?
How can a leader of the opposition whose party has a seat deficit of over 150 possibly remove the PM through his own actions and performance?
Go back just over two years and remember why that huge deficit exists.

It was called Brexit mate. Have you forgotten?

There's no left wing victory to be had unfortunately! Those days are gone. Just two right wing parties to choose between. It's definitely not a situation that I prefer! Doubt that's the case for anyone else you're accusing of it either. But that's where we are. 🤷‍♂️

What's Brexit got to do with it?
That's what did for Labour at the last election. Nothing to do with a rejection of Corbynism. Just idiots preferring Bozo repeating 'Get Brexit done' over and over again. If the will was there then Starmer could have definitely forced Johnson to resign by now. Today is the first time I've actually heard him call for it. He normally leaves that to the SNP.

You 'live' me? How does that work then? You've confused me now Laughing. Easily done. If Oreo really is a bum faced rabbit then good luck trying to kill him/her mate. They're really tough little b*ggers. And I'm not going to be blackmailed by somebody who is going to vote Lib Dem. Even if it is a tactical vote.

Edit: B*gger. You edited that before I replied so now my post makes no sense.
2 of my favourite posters having a love in, class 😁

I was fully behind Corbyn at the time, even caught myself singing along to the White Stripes chant in a nightclub once, but we are in the here and now, and although Starmer isn't quite Corbyn, to say he's just as bad as the Tories, or right wing, or whatever, is just plain wrong.

Sadly it should be like shooting fish in a barrel for Starmer & labour for the last 2 yrs ......, but it seems they have made b***r all ground against this lot thus far , if they are so incompetent, corrupt, dodgepots as this board makes out ............why the hell are labour not miles ahead .........& before the deflection crap starts , i come from bloody Ragworth ....not exactly a tory heartland , lived in a council house , dad died when 12 , 1 parent family after that 4 sis & brothers grafted bought own houses etc ,.... people make the best of what they have , all the bloody politicians are incidental self serving g1ts by & large ....either side of rthe fence ..........we had one of the worst here for 20 yrs

to say he's just as bad as the Tories, or right wing, or whatever, is just plain wrong.

Why? Since winning the leadership he's told us he's against increasing corporation tax, he's against nationalising energy even if energy companies are in crisis, he's in favour of undercover police infiltrating trade unions, he's against teachers unions having a say on covid safety conditions in school...

It's not an insult to say he's quite right wing, it's just an observation. Some people are quite right wing. Why would it be wrong to acknowledge that?

My point is that by slagging off labour and refusing to vote for them: you’re handing the Tories the victory. I find it flat bizarre that people who claim to be on the left want the Tories in power: I honestly can’t fathom how you can’t grasp that the bitter infighting and refusing labour because they don’t give exactly your brand of socialism at the moment only helps one party: the Tories.

It’s more complex than that. In that labour shied away from brexit. Making it seem certain it would still be implemented should they get in power
