If you were going to play for a club, who would it be?

Start of at Liverpool learn the game.Go on to prove my self abroad for Barca and Munich reach 30s go and play for flamengo in Rio and finish of with inter Miami.Retire don't fancy management or coaching.Turning to ambassador roles and pundit work and charitable work whilst building a successful property portfolio mixing my time in UK and overseas.Suporting the Boro. But I'd honestly wud have played a life time for Boro instead.

Buckhurst Hill FC. Only 2 mile from where I live, but most importantly not famous. One thing I would hate to be is famous, infact I don't think I would even like to be rich, financially secure would be good but being rich or famous doesn't interest me in the slightest. So that's why I chose a local football club.

Again, we're all here imagining some ludicrous parallel universe where we're good enough to play football professionally for any club in the world, and you're just looking to retirement. You're not called Gareth are you?
I don't golf, but I have followed his career model with interest!

For purely location reasons: lion City sailors.

For a mix of location and football definitely Boca Juniors.

For purely football I'd love to play for Inter

This! It would be crazy
Great call. About 3 years ago I got the chance to go to a game there, though not the River Plate derby. Thje whole experience was fantastic. Word soon got around that there was an Englishman watching and quite a few came to chat about footy. Before I went to BA I was a little concerned about possible antagonism, but nobody cared about 'The Islands' and just wanted talk about the Premier League...To their credit, most had heard of the Boro.

Without a shadow of a doubt, Barcelona’s reserve team right back.

Incredible weather, incredible lifestyle in an incredible city, zero stress, you’ve had the best view in the world of the best player of all time for 15 years, and hopefully you won’t even make the bench so you can just chill on Sundays. They always have pure class right backs so you’d never have to go on and **** it up. You’d be a cult hero, El Beatle or something, and a Copa del Rey legend. I’d sign a 10 year contract tomorrow.

I’ve had this answer ready for years.

Ajax for me, though if I’m that good I can pick clubs I reckon they’d flog me after 2/3 good seasons. Big money move to AC Milan where I’d have a go at replacing Paolo Maldini as the club’s greatest left back

I’d be a back goal
Keeper which should allow me the opportunity to get transferred to various clubs outside of England experiencing the different cultures of mainly Italy and Spain . Being a keeper allows to string this on for longer as they’d rarely see how bad I play

Internazionale Milan, then on to Barcelona, a season for River Plate, before winning the league at Arsenal, then at Rangers before signing for Sunderland at 34 and doing my cruciate as I am unveiled with a big grin, before managing Middlesbrough for ten years to win FA Cup, League Cup and a couple of seasons in the Champions League

Sevilla. I just remember how awesome their fans were in Eindhoven and I'd love to play in front of that every week. Plus I love the city and the weather.
You love the weather! I guess you haven't in summer!!!!

Totally agree about the fans though
