I think it bodes an issue in the future though if this isn’t worthy of an impeachment then what is?As much as I'd like to see Trump hauled in front of a board or into a courtroom I can't help but wonder whether this quest of impeachment is just fanning the flames?
Because if found guilty by the senate Trump can never hold a position of public office again. If his children are captured in that process that may lead to further legal action and they may be barred from office also. That is before you talk about the morals of ensuring the rule of law and proving that no one is above it.I don't see the point of impeachment if it can't be accomplished by 20 Jan.
Do you think Trump is going to disappear into the mists of time, quietly off playing golf....or will he continue to claim he was robbed and stir up violence and trouble? I think the answer is pretty obvious. As much as I'd like to see Trump hauled in front of a board or into a courtroom I can't help but wonder whether this quest of impeachment is just fanning the flames?
Agreed.Lauren Boebert she's a piece of crap isn't she.
Some of them are lost, some of them will commit crimes in his name. This is set in stone regardless what happens. BUT, it is the reason why action must occur. So the impeachment trial would continue beyond 20 Jan? In which case I hope they succeed, but we all know his supporters won't be having any of it and will blame it all on a conspiracy to discredit him.
It could be construed as that yes. However it’s not really fair to say someone is fanning the flames when the person they are going after has poured gasoline on the bonfire first. I’m for it for two reasons: 1 he incited civil unrest and sedition and that led to the deaths of 4 people on the day and 2: impeachment will stop him running in 2024As much as I'd like to see Trump hauled in front of a board or into a courtroom I can't help but wonder whether this quest of impeachment is just fanning the flames?
