I realise that it raises awareness for a charity. However isnt wearing a xmas jumper once and then binning it typical of our throwaway society.

Environmentally its horrendous how much clothing ends up discarded from 1st world countries like ours.

Just a thought

Have no issue with people trying to brighten their lives up with a bit of fun but I hope that they are carefully stored in the loft and reused for the next Christmas - of course I am being sadly naive to think that happens.

I've got about 4 or 5 Christmas jumpers, despite wearing them very rarely, are people actually just throwing them away after one use?

It’s just general an offence to the eyes!

I wouldn't throw it away. I've had the same Xmas jumper for around 10 years and cost £5. I'm too tight 😂

I've gone through and disguarded 'actual clothes' more.
I'm with you on this, I have two upstairs in the wardrobe, one flashes and the other one doesn't. Nothing wrong with either of them and they will get an airing this Christmas.

Do Xmas jumpers go out of fashion? Just wear the same one each year.
