Is Warnock making a point here?

Looks like Neil made the same point in his interview there.
He's paid to make the decisions that might change the game, but he'd definitely be happier to have more attacking quality and experience at his disposal which is the whole point.

Ikpeazu his only attacker......

Jesus. Some of you need to wind your necks in a bit or learn to comprehend the English language and differentiate observation from kneejerk criticism.
Neil himself said we have one striker so yes, he was making a point. Coburn is just starting out and it's unfair to have to rely on him stepping up so we definitely need a more experienced frontman to give us an added option.
Warnock was obviously trying to make positive changes and change the course of the game, but that doesn't hide the fact that we need to bring players in for lots of positions and if you can't see that then you really are kidding yourselves.

I get what you are saying to a degree, but it’s hardly the worst kept secret in the world. Even if he brought Coburn on I don’t think Gibson would start thinking oh no we don’t need a striker now he likes Coburn. I think Gibson and Bausor etc are very aware we need more bodies in.

Let’s be honest, point or not that was utterly dreadful minus the last 15 mins

You have shown a severe lack of football knowledge in this and the matchday thread.

1. Ikpeazu did his job well and will be a good signing for his price, he’s full of effort and will be a nightmare for defenders. He will play a big part.

2. You slagged off the keeper for not saving Wilson’s goal when it went past him in a flash and it went through Frys legs and his vision was blocked.

3. You whinged about the subs as a lot of us did, you haven’t gave us any credit since the end of the game. Warnock made the right subs. The result now shows that.

4. We weren’t shocking for 75 mins, we were doing what teams like us do when we come up against teams with superior individuals, stay in the game as if we go toe to toe we would of been battered. We stayed in the game made a positive sub in Jones and dominated the last 15 mins and nearly won it in the end. It’s a brilliant team and managerial performance in the end with room for improvement in certain areas.

In what world is bringing some youth energy and direct running on seen as making a point? It was the obvious decision at the time and he was proven right
Exactly.

We've been screaming for the youth to be given a chance for years now. Warnock gives them a shot and he's "trying to throw the game".

🤷

Our strikers are gash, need to address that soon or we will be a classic 'unders team' all season long. That will be very boring for the fair weather lads.

Is that why he was taken off so early? Those defenders clearly looked like they were struggling to handle him today didn’t they......
Not disputing the fact he will put plenty of effort in, but so would I if I was playing up front, effort alone isn’t enough at this level especially if we’re aiming for promotion. He has very little quality other that being able to use his size and just isn’t good enough to get the 15 goals we would need from a striker.

If we aren’t expecting a keeper to save that then we’re setting our standards pretty low, he almost gifted them another goal missing that cross.

The only reason we were still in the game was because they missed their chances, it certainly wasn’t a tactical masterclass. We got lucky, admittedly we probably could have won it at the end but Fulham should have been out of sight by that stage, if we are reliant on other teams not putting chances away to keep us in the game I doubt we are going to get far

You do know we are still in the market for strikers? Probably someone to be first choice. Ikpeazu will more than likely be our battering ram back up and will do a good job. Give over, I’ve watched the goal back. No chance he’s saving that, once the ball goes through someone’s legs it takes something special.
