Is Warnock making a point here?

Our strikers are gash, need to address that soon or we will be a classic 'unders team' all season long. That will be very boring for the fair weather lads.
Just noticed your name borehamwood, I used to live next door in Elstree, what brings you to Borehamwood?

This thread is hilarious 😂 it's almost as if Warnock's had 40 years as a manager and knows what he's doing 😂

You do know we are still in the market for strikers? Probably someone to be first choice. Ikpeazu will more than likely be our battering ram back up and will do a good job. Give over, I’ve watched the goal back. No chance he’s saving that, once the ball goes through someone’s legs it takes something special.
If that’s what he’s actually here for then that’s fair enough, always decent to have a different option off the bench, as it stands the two we have aren’t close to being good enough. We’ve downgraded significantly from Assombalonga and Fletcher, and how last season finished that’s very worrying

Well you would presume so considering we were in for Muniz. Don’t think he would of been signed to sit on the bench.

You would happily take a point from Fulham away at the minute.
To take it from where we were with fifteen minutes to go is a bonus.
To end the match very much on the front foot and looking likely winners is extremely encouraging.

A quality forward, a quality wide player, a left sided cover defender and a cover keeper and we will be fine. I think we will get them and more quality on loan too.

How can you downgrade from blokes who were not interested or looking to move when they got a reduced offer !!!!!

Really , or just fishing , against a ex PL side !!!!!,some have prejudices against warnock that never leave em
Regardless of then opposition the same faults we had time and time again in the second half of last season were so clear to see

Unbelievable posts i have read from that guy this afternoon
Expand ?, did you really expect to go there and win when we spend b***r all & they sign their goalscorer for 13 M ??

oops you may have meant indeedio ........miserable sod lol

Exactly.

We've been screaming for the youth to be given a chance for years now. Warnock gives them a shot and he's "trying to throw the game".

🤷
I think the point that was being made is that two strikers were taken off and replaced with Tav and Spence, and Crooks moving up front rather than an actual centre forward coming on (Coburn). It didn't work so it was later changed with Jones coming on and Tav playing more central. We then improved and got the equaliser.

Is that why he was taken off so early? Those defenders clearly looked like they were struggling to handle him today didn’t they......
Not disputing the fact he will put plenty of effort in, but so would I if I was playing up front, effort alone isn’t enough at this level especially if we’re aiming for promotion. He has very little quality other that being able to use his size and just isn’t good enough to get the 15 goals we would need from a striker.

If we aren’t expecting a keeper to save that then we’re setting our standards pretty low, he almost gifted them another goal missing that cross.

The only reason we were still in the game was because they missed their chances, it certainly wasn’t a tactical masterclass. We got lucky, admittedly we probably could have won it at the end but Fulham should have been out of sight by that stage, if we are reliant on other teams not putting chances away to keep us in the game I doubt we are going to get far
I bet you are p off because you only won £1m on the lottery.

That we were terrible and Lumley should of saved the goal.
Anyone who didn’t think we were terrible until around 75 minutes us extremely low expectations. I’m not exactly suggesting that we should have dominated the game but we offered nothing, barely made a chance and looked lost defensively
