Is Warnock making a point here?

Anyone who didn’t think we were terrible until around 75 minutes us extremely low expectations. I’m not exactly suggesting that we should have dominated the game but we offered nothing, barely made a chance and looked lost defensively

I think you are the only person who said we were terrible. You have a misunderstanding of the level of opponent we were playing, that’s clear. If we had more of a go and opened up to early we probably would of got whacked 3-0. We sat tight and made the right sub and drew the game against a team who will be right up there away from home on the first game of the season. I fail to see how you can be anything but positive. We take a point and move on to 2 home games now

Look on the match thread and social media, I didn’t exactly see many compliments about our performance before the goal.
we didn’t do any of that, we tried to sit back, but gave up too many chances, let them completely dictate the play and offered nothing on the break.
Im delighted we got the point, but this isn’t exactly a game plan that’s going to work on a consistent basis

We won’t be playing Fulham away on a consistent basis, ffs it’s the first game of the season. I can make my own mind up, I don’t need to go on social media. I have called the game exactly how it was. I’m 100 percent confident in that. If you fail to see it was a plan then that’s your call. You seem to have a bit of an agenda against Warnock anyway so probably some biterness in there. It’s a game by game plan, we played Fulham away so we had a plan for every scenario. It is by no chance that game finished how it did, I wouldn’t even say we rode our luck, Fulham weren’t exactly cutting us open.

Jesus. Some of you need to wind your necks in a bit or learn to comprehend the English language and differentiate observation from kneejerk criticism.
Neil himself said we have one striker so yes, he was making a point. Coburn is just starting out and it's unfair to have to rely on him stepping up so we definitely need a more experienced frontman to give us an added option.
Warnock was obviously trying to make positive changes and change the course of the game, but that doesn't hide the fact that we need to bring players in for lots of positions and if you can't see that then you really are kidding yourselves.
Warnock's been manager for two and a bit years. If we're in such dire need of players for all positions - which we are - then surely the manager has to carry a bit of that responsibility. I mean what the **** else has he been doing?

Edit: Two and a bit? Where did I get that from 😂 Feels longer!

Decent result for me.
We are short in some areas and we've brought a raft of new signings in who will still need time to gel with the squad given our up and down pre season games.

I honestly expected Fulham to win convincingly today, to set a marker down for their season as it were so to come away with a point isn't to be sniffed at.

Getting rid of the many, many awful players on massive wages and putting right years of mismanagement takes time.

A decent performance against one of the best resourced teams in the Championship, was pretty confident we’d get chances as the game progressed and we scored an excellent goal, I think Fulham with their attacking riches will score a hatful of goals, so the fact we restricted them to one reflects well going forward, any point away is a good point, but against a newly relegated team who’ve maintained and added to a squad good enough for promotion 2 seasons ago, who are amongst the favourites to go up and who had the lions share of possession for 75 minutes is an exceptional point, sport is not about the how but how many.

NW mentioned lack of depth in his interview after the game. Why let a player like Johnson go who was a solid pro and took a contract for less than we were paying him, Surely we could have offered him a bit more than what Sheff Wed did?

Some of youngsters need a season in Div 1 or 2.
