It’s been a great couple of weeks for good new albums

The Boro Boo Boys with Everything is ****ing **** seems to be riding high in the charts at the moment.

Rob could do with sorting out an endless loop of 'Keep the Faith' by Bon Jovi to play when you first log onto fmttm. Actually, scrub that, too much Bon Jovi would get on my chebs.

Andrew Bird
Benjamin Clemantine
Loyle Carner
Bill Callahan
Always loved a bit of Bill Callahan so will check that out, and I like what I've heard by Loyle Carner. My next gig is Sugababes, so I'd best also check out what Mutya, Keisha and Siobhan have been putting themselves to beforehand.

Ha! I'm going to sugababes. Didn't think there would be a single person off here seeing them other than me.

are you in London?
for reasons I know not (other than stupidity) I bought 2 extra tickets - they are going begging

Thanks for the offer, which I've just seen. Unfortunately it's the same night I'll be at Sugababes. I knew there was a reason I wasn't going. I'd be jealous if I wasn't such a big Sugababes fan. I saw them in Glasgow on their last reunion tour and they were great. Apparently they were one of the best acts at this year's Glastonbury too, so I'm quite excited. I'm sure Bill Callahan will be great too.

No thread on album releases of last couple of weeks can happen without mentioning Midnights by Taylor Swift. Breaking all sorts of records for a very good reason: it’s brilliant.
