It's the 50th anniversary of Dark Side Of The Moon ...

I remember when it came out and it blew my mind. The previous album Meddle had foretold of the Magnus opus that is DSOTM with the wonderful track Echoes. Without doubt their best album - every piece of music on that album is genius. The singing by Clare Torrey, the sax playing, the music which was ahead of its time.

Switch Animals with The Wall and I then totally agree.

I still play my original copy which is in really good nick, though the posters and stickers are long gone.

Two things I never got around to doing… watching The Sound of Music or listening to Dark Side of the Moon. Or any of their albums come to think of it
