ITV confirmation Number Ten partied whilst the rest of us locked down.

Wasn’t it a £10,000 if companies did break the rules I seem to recall a number being bandied about.

To be fair, I think Johnson has cleared this up now at PMQs.

There definitely wasn't a party and he knows that because he's been given assurances by people who work for him, that they didn't happen. However if they did, they didn't break any rules (it was against the rules to have a party). The Cabinet Office will investigate what happened at this party that didn't happen to check that guidelines were adhered to. If anyone was found to be breaching rules at this party that didn't happen, then there will be consequences.

And that paragraph sums up Boris’ tenure. Contradiction and stupidity.

As some one who has just returned from the us it’s startling how different they are approaching this virus than we are. The mask mandate for instance is absolute esp in airports with verbal reminders of what the penalties for non compliance are.

same with public transport and restaurants and even some shops.

then when back in the UK absolutely nada until Tuesday week.
Zorro I think it's just England mate. We went up to Edinburgh recently to see the daughter and face covering compliance was impressive.

As I said to Mart I am

As I said to Mart I am not playing this game with you. For many children it didn't impact their emotional well being. For some families it devastated their children. I know this to be true.

Try not to be so confrontational when you don't know people's circumstances.

I'm not playing a game. The idea that the temporary changes to how children (of which I have two of school age) recieved their education is literally worse than peoples premature deaths is utterly disgusting. Regardless of any circumstances.
If you don't want me to be confrontational as you suggest in your usual condescending manner then don't post stuff which is both incredibly stupid and breathtakingly offensive.

Same for me returning from Denmark. That tone and feel of the two countries is completely different.

You're on ignore.

I hope the expenses of those who are rumoured to of attended are all scrutinised for that month.

As the leader of the bereaved families said why does the PM need an internal investigation into something that happened in his OWN house. It’s not like this happened in some distant FCO post it happened in one of the most secure building arguably in Western Europe.
It's got 100 rooms. PMs office is on the 3rd floor. 10 Downing St is much more than his house.
