Cannot stand the bloke, his "analysis" yesterday consisted of speculating on things which had either a) already happened or b) we're clearly going to happen and harking back to his playing days.

At least Neville tries to inject some original thought into proceedings by adding insights into what is happening with game, why etc.

That said, I struggle (apart from Neville) to find a UK analyst who genuinely interests me, compared to cricket for example where the minutiae of every ball are poured over by experts in their field (no pun intended). I've been watching more NFL and the same stands here, genuine insight covering the how/why of the play, rather than "you once scored an own goal in a Derby" etc .

Of course I have, but not a physical act of abuse like that, plus I'm not a public figure who's no doubt looked up to by many kids, many of whom may even copy his behaviour. I certainly wouldn't feel comfortable or ok with returning to my job on TV in front of millions and pretending nothing had ever happened. He should have been sacked on the spot.
