Jarrad Branthwaite

Didn’t Braithwaite have a bit of a moan saying his surname should be pronounced ’BRANTHWAITE’?

SILLY CUIT!
No, Brathwaite. Apparently an extraneous "i" got added to the first syllable of the name by mistake when one branch of the family emigrated to the US.

Not that i condone booting people in the face, but we had a centre half last season who was willing to put his foot in and worry about the consequences later we might have been a bit higher up the league!
I think we would have finished higher (definitely) if our goalkeeper last season didn't have a memory lapse when that "strange dangerous round object' came near him.

Remember this lad?

Can never forget it. My son was born on the same day and I watched the game in the hospital. This game and in particular this incident will be with me to the day I die bizarrely

Undoubtedly, however there were games last season, Coventry away, Sheff Utd away just a couple that jump out from memory, where our centre defenders got out fought and out muscled. To have overlooked that area in our summer recruitment drive and assume a new keeper would fix all our defensive woes would be naive in the extreme
