Not the usual type but something is bugging me.
At the present time, what is the point in football stadium announcers?
Reading the teams out pre kick off
Announcing substitutes
Reading out added time.

What is the point?
Apart from the teams and staff there is nobody else there.
There know the teams and the person who does the subs and added on time is stood next to the technical areas.
I can only assume the clubs are just keeping people in jobs.
 
Out of interest who is doing the announcing at The Riverside now and do they have a better record collection than Me Mark Page?!

Is that right? Why are friends and family allowed to be at football matches when the order is "stay at home'.
 
Friends and family are not allowed whatsoever at Middlesbrough Football club during a match day. Steve Gibson, Neil bausor and maybe the odd scout are the only people allowed in alongside some press off course

Aye maybe, I'm aware family of the chairman have attended so maybe a bit of assumption on my part that the players have had the same privilege. Point I was making was about the announcements so was generalising really.
