Yes = Career politicians
Yes = More actors then real people
Yes = Trump pretty much committed political suicide

But they seem, on the face of it, decent poeople.
The proof of course will be in the pudding.
 
"Anyone but Trump" is probably my feeling on the matter. That said, he seemed to signal some fairly progressive policies during the campaign, will be interesting to see if they are followed. I'm expecting a slightly less-liberal administration than Obama.

Real story for me is Kamala, a truly historic event. (y)
 
Slightly stuttering speech. I think his speed of thought and slightly slow delivery is worrying. It's so much better than having the self aggrandising, idiotic, and downright destructive Trump

He did make a couple of baffling gaffs during the campaign, though, that were nothing to do with a stutter and you could be forgiven for thinking may be the onset of dementia (I say this as someone who observed a close family member's demise to dementia).

Anyway, he's 80 next year! He's clearly keeping the seat warm so that they can figure out the best way to hand over to Kamala. Putting her up against Trump was too big a gamble, but this way it could work out well and bring about some unity.

I said this last year.
If only the democrats had chosen her they would have won by an absolute landslide. Maybes they were afraid of trying to catch lightning in a bottle twice after the success of Obama.

I think they saw Kamala as a bit of risk against Trump. Biden is a temporary appointment, surely, just to get them the keys to the white house back, he def won't be doing 8 years! He's literally over the life expectancy age already.
