I suggest you look at their respect careers in the english game, Pulis's record is far better. I agree his football is turgid, but it does get results. Strachans football is turgid and doesn't get results...pretty similar to Warnock but usually at a higher level Warnocks was utterly basic, no real plan B or complex tactics, just get the ball forward early and press high. Pulis had a bit more tactically about him, certainly defensively which is why Warnock always got sacked and relegated in the top flight, whereas Pulis stayed up 9 times out of 10, in fact was he ever relegated? Strachan stayed a couple of times with Cov then got them relegated. He had a poor record.You have just described Pulis
As for their time with us Strachan 28% win rate, just over 1 point a match, 52 points in 46 matches. Pulis 44% win rate, 127 points in 80 games, a little over 1.5 points per game. It's incomparable.
