Jorgen Strand Larsen

Boro and Bologna are very different propositions. He should say he wants to go to England or he wants to try Italy. To say 'either will do' is not flattering to anyone.
Not a Euro more and get ready to walk away.
 
I have absolutely no problem in the lad saying coming here would be a vital step in his ambition to get himself to one of the best clubs in the world, in fact I'd be appalled If he fancied slogging it in the championship for the rest of his career.

If he comes here and acts like a man possessed bags 20+ goals and we get promoted then again gets 10-15 in a premier League season in which we consolidate ourselves in that league he'd have my absolute blessing to get himself off to Liverpool or United.

As long as his heart and head whilst he's here are with us I have no problem with it. Nothing wrong with ambition.

Sounds like he wants to be here, go out and get him

Hoppe is a target from last season that we've been watching and isn't related to attempting to sign Larsen. The possible continuation of Akpom might reduce the strikers we need to sign and therefore make Larsen more likely......I think it will only be one of Larsen and Muniz though
 
Based on the weekend game I would say Larsen was not up to the standard of Bamford at the same age. I think 9m Euros is the very top price for him at his current development. OK only based on one game each but the £3m for Forss looks a better deal than £7.5m for Larsen.

I think we'd have signed Muniz by now if he was coming. I think Akpom emerging from the shadows probably ended that pursuit.
 
I hope the powers that be realise that a reasonable 63 minutes stint in one match and 45 in another suddenly transform Akpom into the Messiah that we've been searching for. I think he will ultimately be well down the pecking order if he stays. Watmore unfortunately seems to be somewhat crocked and if another club showed interest it seems he would be gone on loan or permanently. It's very early days for Forss and even if we sign Hoppe we are still short. That makes Strand Larsson or Muniz a virtual necessity. In a perfect world both...
 
Wow - Its difficult making the right decisions and we don't have to deal with opposition clubs, agents and players.

I still think we will be in a better position come September, but we saw some potential points drift away on Saturday.

I think Hoppe is similar kind of shape and frame but a year younger and a couple of year behind in development. Hoppe would be an excellent apprentice to Larsen coming on as sub and playing cup games.

I don't think he'll be delighted with that as a career move.
