Jos Buttler.

Simply can't see us not winning this👏

The depth of white ball talent is amazing. Roy and Butler are so hard to bowl at during the power play.

The bowling line up has been superb. I guess Mills could be out now but it's probably going to give Wood a chance (if fit).

I think we're the best all round side, but the danger is that the toss is too important to the outcome in the UAE.

We had our closest game of the competition today, against a moderate side at best, simply because we lost the toss and had to bat first. It was a difficult pitch to bat on for the first 12 overs and then, when the dew arrived, became a difficult pitch to bowl and field on.

We won because of the strength in depth of our team and the fact that we're much a better side than Sri Lanka. Against, say, Pakistan that might not have been the case.

That said, we look like playing the semi final in Abu Dhabi (which is a better surface than Sharjah) and the final is at Dubai, which is the ground that seems to suit us best.

Yep, toss seems pretty critical. Took a while to adjust to the pitch yesterday. Sri Lanka, whilst not as good as us do have some tricky bowlers but I thought we coped with it well.

I think only Pakistan can stop us now although I wouldn't fancy facing the Afghani spinners if they get through.

I think NZ will give anyone a run for their money, they were unlucky to lose to Pakistan I thought.
For what it's worth I think it will be eng/NZ , pak/aus semis .

The dew factor is a bit ridiculous.

England pretty much won an 8/20 rather than a T20, with the vast majority of our runs coming after it got wet.

If that's two fairly evenly matched sides then whoever bats second will always win.

I'm routing for the Afghans if not us. I love watching the ability of those spinners.

I didn't realise how hood they are until I started watching the IPL/Big bash etc. Kahn is often unplayable.

Side note.... Now that Rashid's shoulder is OK. Get him on the plane down under. I'd be grovelling if I'm Joe Root 😂
