Agree with this. I think a lot of people's views are skewed, understandably, by the fact he's a local youngster who's scored a few goals. It'd be amazing if such a player broke through.

I don't think his finishing is in doubt, but his all-round game needs work and he's best learning that by playing regular first team football. He isn't going to get that here. Best thing for him (and us, long term) is to go and get that experience elsewhere. Assuming of course we bring in better.

Agree with this, if he goes out and improves his all round game and scores a bucketful of goals and improves his already very good technique of taking chances then he is potentially going to come back a really top prospect. I’m not sure being 5th choice here is what he needs to be honest when you think about it. Would prefer Akpom or Watmore to have that mantra.
 
I suppose the main thing now is to have 2 decent strikers only Armstrong seems to fit that description that we’ve been linked with . I think muniz is capable of double figures just hasn’t had the opportunity to prove that yet
 
Wasn’t at the game today. Think Josh has huge potential but he needs to be playing regularly to develop his game, if that means him going out on loan then it’s better for him and the club in my opinion. If he scores a few goals it’ll do wonders for his confidence!

It's almost arguably selfish to want him to stick around as 5th choice. He'd be an excellent 5th choice striker, but it's not really going to help him develop. He's defo good enough to be starting in league 1 for me. Think it'd do him the world of good.

Yeah he’s more than good enough for a top league 1 side. Would be good to see him go to a club like Sheff Wed.
 
He looked a bit clumsy today, as if he doesn't know how to use his size to shield the ball and his touch was heavy. I think he's a good finisher but I'd agree he's not ready to be starting for us and if he's not starting then for the sake of his development he's probably better out on loan.

If he stays I think the best use of him will be when chasing games and we need an extra striker. He doesn't seem like a typical Wilder striker.

That’s my worry we have lots of potential but very little proven goals at this level that Armstrong would bring.
 
Said on here last week he needs to go out and play 40 games somewhere. Pointless been here and doing 20 mins. Get him out it was good enough for Harry Kane
 
I 100% think Coburn needs to head on loan, lads got a great future but he needs to go get roughed up for 40 odd games in league 1 or 2!

On the positive side, Akpom did more in the first half than Connelly did all of least season.
Could be wrong but I think we’ll see more of him.

I think wilder would bring out the best in most players maybe wilder would get more satisfaction from turning a Warnock older into something better

To be fair Forss has only been a Boro player since Thursday so it’s gonna take a little while to get Upto speed. A full weeks training this week will do him the world of good
