I genuinely believe England can win this WC.
Obviously, it is whether the players are able to achieve it in their heads too. The experience of losing vs Italy at Euros on penalties, when we should, and could have beaten them quite easily, to be honest ... anyway blah blah, this sounds awfully cliched bollox already but I just hope they want it more now, as a result of the night we lost that final. We've got such an unreal squad. I hope that lesson was the last thing that was required as Sir Gareth hones his young side carefully, and spurs this lot on to actually going and doing this. It's coming home.
People have said crazier things. I think they have, anyway.
Sir Gareth hoisting our first WC since '66 would bring a tear or two for sure.
