Harsh, and unfair.Didn't turn up for the euro final either.
John Terry, Wayne Rooney and Steven Gerrard have all been England captain. The 'expected behaviour' ship has sailed. It's not the behaviour you would expect from the England captain.
No smoke without fire as they say
Has anyone (City) even bid? I doubt he's just downed tools. He doesn't seem the type.
The thing with Levy is that he won't be bullied. He will have given City a price and won't budge. This could go on until the final day of the window.
The best part is that city play spurs on the opening day
Costa and Kane up top, gotta feel for big Uche, from first to third choice in one day...............
I’d say Gerrard was a reasonable role model.John Terry, Wayne Rooney and Steven Gerrard have all been England captain. The 'expected behaviour' ship has sailed.
apart from when he was battering DJ's for not playing Lionel Richie (I know he was cleared), he was certainly not whiter than white.I’d say Gerrard was a reasonable role model.
Oh yeah he definitely wasn’t whiter than white.apart from when he was battering DJ's for not playing Lionel Richie (I know he was cleared), he was certainly not whiter than white.
I was 'gutted' that he wouldn't play my song, Gerrard told police

Turns out it's true. Well who'd have thought it?Sources closer to Spurs than Fabrizio and Skysports suggest he's waiting to hear back from a negative covid test and should report into training tomorrow if the test is negative.
Sounds like Skysports spouting horse cr@p as usual.
From what I've read the rumour was started by a couple of spurs fans on twitter.Sources closer to Spurs than Fabrizio and Skysports suggest he's waiting to hear back from a negative covid test and should report into training tomorrow if the test is negative.

I think players should and do hold the ace card on transfers, as long clubs are compensated for a players early release from contracts.I'm torn on this, on one hand he signed a contract and should honour it. On the other Spurs tried to unsettle Downing from us once, what goes around comes around.
