Just bought a Paperwhite Kindle, anyone got some good reading ideas please?
Like murder mystery , history or biographies, free books if possible .
Any ideas please?

Join bookbub they will send you daily deals on kindle, some free some you have to pay for, but usually 99p or less.

Get a kindle unlimted account, can't remember what I pay, but you can have up to, I think 12 books rented on your kindle. Not all books are part of the kindle unlimited subscription though. Just cjecked kindle unlimited is 7.99 a month.

Try Victor Methos legal thrillers, all based on actual cases
Douglas E Richards near future thrillers

As you mentioned a preference for history and biographies, try Conn Iggulden.

He has written a series of books on Ghengis Khan, Julias Ceaser and War of the Roses.

He tells the biographies as historical fiction ( which makes them enjoyable and informative ).

Murder Mystery - I loved Richard Osmans book and I'd guess the price will drop when the sequel comes out in September.

Also if you like historical murder mystery then crowner John mystery by Bernard Knight are an enjoyable series to read.

I use both my phone and a kindle. Phone for things like sitting on a train or plane and my kindle at home. It saves your last location shared across devices.

The biggest advantage for me as a big reader is I can finish one book download another and be reading again 2 minutes later. Great for binge reading a series of books.
