Great to see another black manager being given a chance, I think read they went for YaYa before appointing Kolo.

Ye I’d be interested to know why it’s seen as a weird appointment compared to any other young ex premier league playing getting their first managerial post

I think the benefit of a young manager is they’ve played in more modern tactics than the like of the ones that do the rounds

Then you have the one who are coaching under elite managers learning the trade

If anything I’d be worried about Wigan having an upturn if form now

Oh I didn’t realise he’d been first team coach at Leicester, thought they’d just plucked this totally random ex-PL player out of nowhere.

Didn’t even realise he was coaching, have never seen him linked with a job before.
