Kyle Hudlin

Played in same league as hartlepool. If he was that good i reckon pools would have bought him for their league 2 campaign.
Not sure if Hartlepool have enough money to buy him. Especially not if Championship sides also want him.

I think he'd be a good signing if we're going to continue with a Warnock style of football beyond this season. Especially if he has more about him than just being big.

And I was 100% sure it was Solihull Motors... This is the first time a Mandela Effect type thing has caught me out!!

Has anyone seen him play? I always associate big lanky lads as being weak as p155 and very slow ungainly runners..............

Man City link is strange as at 21 you’d think he’s too old for the youth team and never going to be near the first team. Probably an agent trying to drum up interest/get more money.
He would definitely win any long balls up to him.
Certainly doesn't fit Pep's criteria for a striker [diminutive, hard working, passing.movement] but who knows maybe he's suddenly seen the light

He's popular at Moors but read quite a few comments that his technique is very questionable even at that level so should be interesting to see how he does in the championship!

Nailed on scorer against us of course.

We are definitely doing our best to unearth rough diamonds. On the back of the promising first league start for former Tooting & Mitcham player Isiah Jones and signing that non-league winger, we are now looking at this kid from Solihull Motors (national League). 21 year old, so he was 20 last season and scored 1 in 3......oh, I forgot, his USP is that he's the tallest pro in Britain at 6 foot 9
1 in 3?

He scored 5 in 25 in the NL last season according to the stats?

I remember long ago the Gazette back page had a headline 'Boro make big signing'. Tall lad from Scarborough iirc.
Can see them dusting off that one for another go.

Weird because I thought it was Motors too. A quick browse and I see news articles title Solihull Motors then talking about Moors. I always assumed it was somehow related to the local car industry and maybe originally a factory workers side.

Having lived around that area 20 years ago, I don't remember much in the way of moors to be honest.
Moor Green station in the centre, toward Digbeth?
