for minutes played last season he was 0.3gpg and 0.19 assists per game, combined that's a goal involvement every 2 games. thats the kind of player we want to have coming off the bench or starting when people are injured, suspended our out of form. he is basically the same goal scoring rate as conway, with the same work rate and willingness to press, so whether he starts or comes on, he will contribute.8 goals in 65 appearences for Hull does not scream "this is the forward we've been searching for" (I sincerely hope.) So this is an 'off the bench' signing at £4-5M? Looks like a very expensive bench warmer.
if he's a copy of one of the top goalscorers/assisters in the league that drove much of our attack last season I am alright with that.Way to much for him imho and very underwhelmed, seems to be another Conway copy according to my Hull mates, has he had a fitness test ?
An attack that was the biggest factor in us falling short.if he's a copy of one of the top goalscorers/assisters in the league that drove much of our attack last season I am alright with that.
He's already on crutches? This is a very good signing for our style.
ha ha yeah just me getting over enthusiastic again. I need to channel my in built Teesside pessimism a bit more :)"Perfect" may be stretching it.
"Potentially very good"![]()
They do rate him, I know quite few Hull ST holders, they do say he is has a very high work rate for closing down players. I've a feeling he will play where Conway does and Conway will play CF. Although its mentioned in the Echo article "Joseph is a versatile forward player, but it's understood Boro believe he's best equipped to play as a No.9."for minutes played last season he was 0.3gpg and 0.19 assists per game, combined that's a goal involvement every 2 games. thats the kind of player we want to have coming off the bench or starting when people are injured, suspended our out of form. he is basically the same goal scoring rate as conway, with the same work rate and willingness to press, so whether he starts or comes on, he will contribute.
worth a few million in my book and their fans rate him which is diffent to the usual "he's *****"

When Conway was crocked we failed to function. This was obvious. I think it will be one or the other playing high intensity and replacing each other from the bench. I think there will be at least 1 more striker coming inSo our strike force next season will be Conway and Kyle Joseph. Surely not. There must be other forwards coming in.
If 2.5m + 1.5m add-ons is way too much, how much do you think we should pay for him?Way to much for him imho and very underwhelmed, seems to be another Conway copy according to my Hull mates, has he had a fitness test ?
Hull should be paying us double that to take him off their hands. If 2.5m + 1.5m add-ons is way too much, how much do you think we should pay for him?
At least we know that he should hit the ground running, and we know what we are going to get from him. He’s 24 and played over 200 games at Championship and League One level, much better bet and value for money than a £2m punt on Sene or £7m on Strelec who were unproven in English football.
