The problem is they have such a small bubble of people they mix with that they're completley ignorant of the world outside. I had the "pleasure" of spending a night in the company of the lower aristocracy a few years back and I've never met a more ignorant and offensive bunch of people in my life. But ... I don't think there's any deliberate malevolence in it .. it just pure outrageous ignorance brought about by their upbringing. Those I had the night with thought nothing of leaving a mess .. even p!ssing in corridors of the location of why we were as "the staff will clean it tomorrow". Ignorant of things such as mortages (I had to explain what one was to an older guy) and I even got asked what it was like being "poor". It's just sheer ignorance that only becomes visible when they speak to "normal" peasants like me and you.

It is not only the Royal family, but it is also Tory Britain. You only have to look at how Lizz Truss became prime minister instead of Sunak. It is a very sad world we live

class culture is built on seeing people as lesser than you if they aren't part of your class, is it really a million miles from seeing someone a different colour as being beneath you?

After telling the 'Lady' she was born in Britain I think it was racist to persist with a line of questioning which included "yes but where are your people from?".
