Verses Coventry tonight,anything other than 3 points and we kiss goodbye to any top six aspirations.
Realistically do you agree?
 
It's a very competitive league. If we lose this one, but then win the two after that, then are we still out of it?

Don't discount one or two teams above us having a collapse in form.

I don't think that we will make the play-offs this season, but there will be hope even if we lose tonight.
 
We need a Barnsley or Cardiff style run, just winning 4 or 5 on the spin will put us right back in it and it is irritating that clubs like Barnsley are able to do this but we can't.

this is the first time Barnsley have won 5 on the bounce for 25 seasons - @Erimus74 can tell us how many times The Boro have had a 5 game winning streak over the same period of time.

the last 11 games is the start of going through those saloon doors and asking for a nervous breakdown at the bar # UTB.
 
It's still all to play for but we really, REALLY, need to step it up a level to stay in contention now.
I've said this a few times in recent weeks but without the extra "really" in capital letters 😁
 
I'm still hoping, but we're just so inconsistent. The amount of stinking performances we have in us is ridiculous. Literally never know what sort of performance we're going to get.
 
It will be very hard if we lose tonight. Which is likely. We would need a run of 7 or 8 wins on trot to get back into contention at the least...and a couple of teams above to really lose form
 
If we lost vs Coventry there's still 9 points to go at from the 'do or die' group

we do need to start stacking up wins in a row. with the quality in the squad we are capable of it.. we just need protein shakes and deep yoga cleansings
 
I don't think it's the end of the world. The results are so random that as long as we are 4-6 points off with 5 games to play you've still got a chance.

A club usually implodes or bottles it.

I just don't want the season to be over with 6 or 8 games remaining. Just hang on in within a few points and see what happens.

The simple fact is we don't have a clue what Boro will turn up. I have no idea what to expect to night. I can only assume we can't be worse than the Bristol City game😂
 
Definitely not win or bust tonight - as Brentford have demonstrated for better and for worse teams do go make a habit of going on winning and losing runs in this division. It is bizarre but not impossible that several clubs could fall off a cliff together. It seems to happen a lot.
I think the most important thing is to be competitive throughout the rest of the season and see where that gets us - at the very least it would leave us feeling a lot more confident about next term.
