League Ladders

I loved these and used the bits of card to enable me to do a 'proper' cup draw as well. Never could get a pen to put numbers on my marbles successfully to do it with numbered balls.

Oh happy days, Boro won the cup every year, often beating Hartlepool or Darlow one of the later rounds

There's a few teams on there that have gone out of the league or playing under a slightly different name.

Halifax, Chesterfield, Wrexham, Torquay, Notts County, Oldham, York, Aldershot, Scunthorpe, Southend are in the National League
Darlo, Chester and Southport are in the National League North
Workington are in the 8th tier of English Football
The Bury phoenix club are in the 9th tier.

So, who are the 15 clubs that have replaced them?
(6 are in L2, 8 are in L1 and one is higher)

Absolutely loved these. I was obsessed with keeping mine up to date.

Always felt sorry for teams with dowdy colours like Bradford. 😆

I always got the SHOOT and looked forward to these at the start of every season. I would have them pinned on my bedroom wall and would update them soon as I had been for the Sports Gazette (The Pink).

I was trying to remember which magazine they came with. Yes, Shoot.
