Lets Rock The North East ..

If people object to paying £50 for 10+ bands in a themed event then live music is dead.

What do you want to pay?

How much would you pay for a headlining act doing a sell out at the Georgian or the Southfield?

As Rob said people need paying! From the bands to the venues and promoters and everyone else involved. People can't work at a loss!

Human League are great but bananarama and Tony Hadley FFS dreadful.
Saw Tony Hadley at the Globe earlier this year he was good. Ill probably go for this noticed the VIP tickets are £135 each and then an additional £500 for a table which seats 10 people.

Wonder why theyve picked Albert Park rather than Stewart Park, more central?

The dance music festival is back in Stewart Park May Day weekend

People couldn’t wait to kick the town last year when it was announced. It’s not my cup of tea but 50 in todays money for an all day event is value for money

Child bereavement were looking for volunteers to help out, it's a 4 hour shift patter but they are happy if you stay for the shows. A good deed and a fee show, there you go.

Looks a good mix on the line up and weather looking good for saturday. If i wasnt going to madness on the friday would probably give this a go. The Beat Roland Gift Janet Kay

£50 is good value. I'm paying €138 for one day only at the Forever Young 80s Festival in Ireland. But it does include a souvenir cup worth €6.
And The Farm have just sneaked in as an 80s band which is a bonus.
