Lock down Boro football question #3 - your favourite Bokšić goal (ta to junos_boots for the video link)

I think I was at every game he scored for us.
Favourite was his 2nd on debut away to Coventry. I remember saying to my mate just after he scored that we had someone special here.
I had forgotten just how good he was.

Without looking, the one at Lecester.

Honourable mentions for the one at Leeds featuring the sideways pass from Paul Okon, and the last-minute penalty equaliser at Chelsea after which we grinned our way back to the pub.

The goal at Leicester was brilliant - his best for me. Even if I was having to try and peer round a roof post that was blocking my view of the whole of the box we were attacking. Apologies if any of you were sat to my right as I kept leaning across you every time we attacked.

I'm going for the Newcastle freekick.

I've given my opinion on AB in recent threads, and great though the Leicester goal was, it reminds mw of my objection to him. For every brilliant floaty chip, there were half a dozen that missed, when easier finishers were options.

Spanishman what were you doing up so early?
I had an alarm set for 7am to get up for a golf competition. I woke up at around 4 in the morning. Then could not get back to sleep. So rather than disturb the missus by me tossing and turning I got up. Went back to bed at around 6 and got around an hour more rest (but not sleep).

My fitbit credited me with 3 hours and 35 minutes sleep last night. Not enough for it to give me a sleep score for the night.

We were playing a Texas Scramble (team competition) this morning. We ended up coming 2nd. After us having 4 birdies in the last 6 holes. With me playing a big part in the 4 birdies. So maybe I should not sleep more often.

I think there will be some zzzzzzzz on the sofa this afty.

The free kick against the Mags for me, to get the power and the dip from such a close range takes outrageous technique.

Having said what I said about the Leicester goal, you know it's a special goal when the opposition fans applaud, and fair play to the Leicester fans who acknowledged it.

TLF at OT springs to mind as another that was respected by the home fans.
