Lockdown purchases you regret

During lockdown quite a few people bought hot tubs, dogs, exercise bikes - and houses, that they now regret

Oh dear

Personally I bought loads of jigsaws, I now have a massive pile of them, all destined for an ebay listing soon :geek:

Toilet rolls 🤣
Only joking.
Certainly thought about stocking up on them until I learnt that there had been many fights in supermarkets
over them, here in Oz.
Funnily enough, it was females that were doing all the pushing, shoving and bashing.
Can't say I blame them really. Some peoples trolleys had nothing else in them but toilet rolls.
I decided that I would prefer to eat than wipe my bum.

Beer. Got in the habit of having a couple of beers most days over the last 18 months or so and as a result put on about 2 stone. Keep saying I'm going to start running again and go out on my bike but I'm finding it hard to get motivated.
Or to get your leg over the crossbar.🤣

I bought a pizza oven 2 weeks before lockdown which ended up being a great buy as avoided the stock crisis and price rises and used it extensively.

Bought a gaming pc & did put my home office and upstairs of the house with money from buying & selling GPU's and consoles.

gave up second car at start of lockdown which has saved us a fortune as I work from home anyway so gf has used my car. She was paying £350 a month for her car, so save that plus tax, insurance, maintenance etc

bought a £900 saxophone 2 months ago and enjoying learning that & it's a nice bit of kit.

Don't really regret anything other than too many takeaways!

Good luck trying to cancel it, I gave up and just moved it to every second month which is the best you can do via the website.
Easy to cancel, just send an email if you don't want to call them. I did after also joining the wine club to get 3 bottle of red for £5.95 postage 😂😂😂🍷

A season ticket........ only kidding

I bought a couple of things that I used during lock down but wouldn't need to use them afterwards.
- Hair clippers
- Exercise equipment ie. TRX straps and resistance bands

Although both still got some use after we were allowed out to play, they're pretty much redundant now I'm back at the gym and barbers.

Also bought a pair of Altberg walking boots which will continue to get used as I really got into walking during lockdown.

I've continued to use my hair clippers, number 5 all over is easy now I've had a bit of practice 🙈

Electric and acoustic guitars. Bought them in first lockdown, with dreams of hitting the big time after lockdown(by big time I meant learning the bing bong song from Peppa pig for the kids), how hard could it be six strings and a few frets, I'm pretty creative by nature and do a lot of art so should be easy with a bit of effort. I have now learned: Eddie Ate Dynamite Good Bye Eddie, that's about as far as I got. My Mrs won't even let me wall mount them so it at least looks like I am some kind of musician.
