This site is auctioning off loads of new bikes from a retailer that went into liquidation.
At the moment they have listed e bikes and kids

There are more to come - just need to keep looking at the site.

I was reading about this the other day, but can't find the article. Probably the biggest wholesaler when I was in the business, so a shock to see them going down. 35,000 bikes going apparently so I'd imagine the vast majority will be sold in batches to retailers.

There's a bit of a downturn in bikes sold at the moment, so there are good deals available with many retailers. Even Isla Rowntree's quality kid's bikes are having their first ever sale. Never cheap, but they are designed with kids in mind and geometry to fit rather than scaled-down adult models. They do models for very old people too and even those born with dwarfism.

I found this in Cycling Weekly

A few weeks ago I read another report about a glut of bikes in the market place.
Seems manufacturers got a bit giddy during Covid and have massive over stocks.
I noticed Giant have already started a ‘sale’ with some bikes.

It should be a good year for anyone who wants a new bike - just hold your nerve til August.

(Guess who bought one last year??)
 
I’ve got one in this auction. Kids mountain bike half price at £127 after fees. Not seen anything for me yet.

I built my own up last year from an old Hetchins frame. Couldn't find anything on the market that was ideal for my needs.
