Looks like Starmer might be done

At the third time of asking he admitted he knew that Mandelson had maintained contact with Epstein after his first conviction but he still appointed him Ambassador to the US. Labour MPs on the benches behind him silent. I think it might be the end for him.

Incredible stupidity allowing his desire to crawl to Trump to overcome any sense of ethics and common sense. Everyone knew Mandelson was a poisonous crook even before the Epstein connection yet he brought him back from the shadows yet again; and for what? To still be shat on by Trump.

The guy is an idiot but what this shows is the power behind the throne. I believe the Prince of Darkness was a McSweeny appointment

Sophy Ridge roasted Streeting today.
Streeting was insisting Starmer was ‘on it’ in condemning Mandy and saying he should lose his peerage.

She said ‘I’m struggling a bit here. It’s easy now after more pictures have emerged. Everyone knew he was friends with a convicted paedophile and yet he was still appointed’

The ‘smug one’ who, lets be clear was supportive of the appointment was lost for words.

It could be the end for Starmer and the leader in waiting…..

Enter Angela Rayner who has supported the Tory amendment for an Independent assessment of what is in the public interest.

Lab MPs reportedly furious with KS

Labour need to hold it together

Or Farage will get the 2027 election that he stated would happen

He seems to be lucky at every turn in life - survives plane crash , no real scrutiny of house purchase , failure to declare income washed over - so can see him being PM in the not too distant future

Then we really will be f;u-c/ked

Guess we will see how this pans out

I said from the start that Starmer is paving the way for Farridge.
He has been totally shocking. He abandoned the Labour membership so fu.ck him.
Get the useless cu.nt out before he makes things even worse.
He knew what was coming with Burnham. We need him in. He can actually increase public support rather than lose what little is left.

To be honest I'm not sure whether he should stay or go. Its irrelevant anyway as he will be hounded out now, as thats what the public seems to want. On a human level, I actually feel sorry for him - I think he's a really genuine character that is actually trying to do things properly, and do what he thinks is best for the country. I also think Labour have implemented quite a few good things quietly, but aren't good at communicating them. Whats against him is that he seems too nice, very naive, and probably isnt the "heavyweight" (personality & politics wise) that is able to govern at the highest level - it feels like he'd be great at running a council or something, but this job seems just too big for him. The worry for me is that I suspect its become an impossible job for anyone in the current climate.
