Love Will Tear Us Apart a la Noel Gallagher

Sacrilege, good effort or meh

I love the arrangement but don’t think his vocals quite work 7/10

I don't particularly like either of the Gallagher brothers but I'd cut Noel a bit of slack here. It's just an interpretation of a unique song done under the conditions the BBC Radio 2 piano room, orchestra and all.

Just listened to it and the full piano room broadcast and quite liked it (but then I also like the new album). In his defence it seems the BBC requested him to do it and he talks about mixed feelings in doing so on the interview. His brothers a bit of a plonker though.

Like almost everything he’s ever done, terrible. I think Noel thinks he’s a greater musician than he is.
I think his voice is terrible.. sounds like the teacher in green corduroys that used to sing hymns at assembly. He's a decent busker with a lot of lip. He wrote some decent tunes back in the day.. definitely another cash cow on the horizon. I think if he could get chat GPT to write his tunes he would do. Hey chat gpt.. write an album of Slade Songs

Shout it from the Rooftops
G, AM, Em, D

Verse 1)
Well, it's a Saturday night, and the town's alive,
People dancing in the streets, feeling oh so fine,
The jukebox is playing, and the drinks are flowing,
Everybody's ready for a rock 'n' roll showin'.

(Chorus)
Come on, everybody, let's get ready to go,
We're gonna rock this town, don't you know,
With the sound that's made, we're gonna make it loud,
Shout it from the rooftops, make the whole world proud.

(Verse 2)
The guitars are screaming, and the drums are pounding,
Shades on in in town, and the crowd is astounding,
Noddy's at the mic, belting out those tunes,
Dave's on guitar, lighting up the room.

(Chorus)
Come on, everybody, let's get ready to go,
We're gonna rock this town, don't you know,
With the sounds we've made, we're gonna make it loud,
Shout it from the rooftops, make the whole world proud.

(Bridge)
We'll stomp our feet, and we'll clap our hands,
We'll sing along with Slade, all across the lands,
We're the kings of our minds, on afternoon repeats,
We're gonna fleece your mamma, suck on Lennon's teat

(Guitar Solo)

(Verse 3)
The night is electric, and the energy's high,
Citeh's on fire, reaching for the sky,
The crowd's on their feet, screaming out for more,
I'm gonna rock you to your very core... toniiiiiiggghhhhttt

(Chorus)
Come on, everybody, let's get ready to go,
We're gonna rock this town, don't you know,
With the sound of Slade, we're gonna make it loud
,Shout it from the rooftops, make the whole world proud.

(Outro)
So, raise your glasses, and let the music play,
With sunshine in your hearts, you can't go astray
We're the legends of rock, forever we'll stand,
Together we go, brothers hand in hand..

At least do something different with it. Like this. :)
Evelyn Evelyn are a musical duo formed by Amanda Palmer (of The Dresden Dolls) and Jason Webley. According to the fictional backstory described by Palmer and Webley, the duo consists of conjoined twin sisters Eva and Lyn, Evelyn and Evelyn Neville.

Oh Jesus, why did he have to do that? It isn't quite as bad as the Nolan Sisters singing Panic, or All Saints covering Under the Bridge, but I really wish NG hadn't gone there.
