LUTON PRIORITY POINTS

I'd ignore them mate, I remember the chaos of the Brighton game where I started a thread and monitored it to try and make sure tickets were first come, first serve. People are quick to abandon the principle of points and queues as soon as there's a big game.

For an away game at Luton it's hardly a crime. If it was Wembley you'd probably be due a bit of stick.

t's hardly a crime
No it's not a crime, but it's incredibly hypocritical when this board has been full of people defending the points system because it suits them, then when it doesn't suit them they try and get round it .... what about everyone else who hasn't got quite enough points.

And in case it went over your head my post was taking the pi55 hence the 😉 - I live abroad too and would love to go to some of the big matches but unlike the OP, I accept I won't be able to. Careful you don't fall when you get off your high horse

Mr Dig it you are charged with asking fellow football fans for help in attending a football match, how do you plead ?
Guilty M'Lord
Take him down and put him in the cells, next to Peter Sutcliffe, Dennis Nielson and Fred West (yes I know they are dead)
Maybe not put you in the cells, just in the queue like everyone else

No high horse when I'm open about being happy to ask for one where as you are 'accepting' you don't get to see big games because you live abroad (how gracious of you). I would suggest those digging at someone for daring to abandon their moral compass and ask for help getting a ticket might also be those engaging in ethical equestrianism.

Also, there's more than just you on this thread and the post I replied to was not the one with the winky face.

Additionally, it isn't hypocritical unless you can find posts from this fella defending the points system.

Fairplay, humblest apologies to anyone offended by my request.

It's a tough one this whole points debate as you can never keep everyone happy,im rapidly coming round to the thinking that I'm going to have to buy tickets for games I can't get to just so I've enough points to go to games I can make.

I've always felt loyalty should be rewarded but conflicted in that the closed shop situation should be avoided.
Honestly don't know the answer.
UTB

I definitely think this is going to be a Monday night game looking at other fixtures that weekend and the Premier League TV games already chosen. I think Hudds v Sheff Utd will be the Saturday lunchtime game.

Looks like an afternoon off work for me.

Surely the answer is in going to lots of games over the season because you love supportimg your team and your team loves your support. Over the course of the season the vast majority of away games go to general sale.

I got the Huddersfield ticket cut off point wrong at 180 to 190, but with half the ticket allocation at Luton, I would till say its around 200 points required.

As the season proceed the points fans have is rising too.

I forgot Sheff Utd will be playing in the cup. So we might indeed be Saturday lunchtime - unless they don't have one due to cup game?

Where can you see your points total? I've checked my account, which gives points for individual games and season tickets, but no running total.
And, yes, I can add up, but I'm sure I've seen a full total before.
Found it, you have to go on the ticket purchase page and the total is in the bottom right corner.

Btw my comment wasn’t aimed at any individual btw it’s human nature but I know how Sunderland fans at work react with their points getting tickets for friends family etc to buy points.

Even buy tickets for games they won’t go to to build points etc.

When you log onto the buy tickets page your points total is shown in a little red box bottom right.
