A number of former players have moved on since the Wembley final victory, but Macca looks like he aint going anywhere....

btw: thats Cedwyn Scott - his oppo who moved with him at the start of last season from Gateshead.

Macca looking happy and unlikely to be moving on.
Tomorrow - pre-season friendly v Stoke City at Meadow Lane.
Next weeks "friendly"opponents are from over the Trent in Rushcliffe.

Every time I’ve seen him he looks very average, no pace but he does come alive in the box.

He’s at the correct level.
"No pace"?
Scored again yesterday against a very good Stoke side in a 1-5 defeat "friendly" at Meadow Lane.
Just out of interest: how much National League football did you watch last season?
Incidentally, he`s moving "up" a level this season - I wonder if you think he`s capable of playing in EFL League 2?

Yes no pace, he was complimented heavily with the players around him such as Rodrigues who I think is the best player in that team from what I’ve seen.

I saw a fair bit when it was on BT sport.

I don’t think he will have anywhere near the impact he did in the national league but good luck to him.

He’s a fox in the box and a good goalscorer at that level, I understand you like Notts county but it’s just my opinion.

The best player on that team is Rodrigues.

He`s a striker - like Paul "poacher" Wilkinson was.
I admire Notts for how they play and how they went from near bankruptsy four seasons ago, to promotion back to the league.
Just like Boro - they arent "fashionable" but have balls and resilience.
Their fans have put their hands in their pockets to pay back-room staff many times and endured some very dubious owners.
Rodrigues scored 19, Scott 15 and Chicksen 10 out of a total of 117 league goals last season.
They will do well this coming season.
They`ve bought in David McGoldrick [Rams top scorer last season], Will Randall [Sutton`s leading scorer last season] and Junior Morias along with four other players, so they look set for the new season. Rodrigues, despite being offered a new contract, decided to go to Oxford United. Be interesting to follow his progress next season (y)

It’s very different, the lowest level chuba has played is in the championship.
My post relates to your comments about being "complimented heavily".
Most goal scorers need the rest of the team to work with and alongside them.(y)
