Made a bet with a mate that Conte, Bielsa and Lampard won’t be at their clubs end of next season.

COME ON LEVY. PULL THE TRIGGER!

Crybaby Conte doing what he does best and throwing his toys out the pram. He knew what he was walking into when he took the job.

Conte will do well to make it through Monday after that press conference...

I don’t get the adulation for him, when he won the league with Chelsea they weren’t in Europe, if I remember rightly they didn’t do much in the cups either, so he pretty much had 20 odd less games than his competitors. Next season, when it got a bit more difficult same thing happened, threw his toys out and left.

Did well with Inter. And although you're right, winning the league with Chelsea is only something 3 managers have managed in recent times, the others being Mourinho and Ancelotti (out of a large number of guys who've had a go). I think it was the wrong club for him, he expects to compete at the top and the resources just aren't quite there for Spurs.

They also should stop appointing guys who expect to challenge for the title, as it will always end in disappointment. Pocchetino wouldn't do any better second time round I don't think (or even as well), and I think that'd be a mistake. Nagelsmann might not be a bad bet, get them top 4 and most fans would be happy, but he's capable of winning an FA Cup or something, which must surely be their aim.

Fans expectation is ridiculous for a club that have won the league twice, both times closer to the end of Queen Victoria’s reign than to the end of QE2.

They got booed off in the last 16 tie versus AC Milan. Utterly preposterous sense of entitlement.
Fully agree. It’s a strange club, because they are well supported and have a CL final to their name, plus a purple patch under Pocc and consistently top 6. But they’ve won as much as us this century, and are no closer to winning the PL than us I don’t think!
