Man United or Tottenham

For me it would be hilarious if Spurs get into the CL, absolutely criminal if United do. I know they’re just as bad as each other (Spurs slightly worse) but that money would be such a bailout for United.

As a young kid I spent some time living in Kent. All the kids were either Arsenal or Spurs. The boys are played football with were Arsenal, so I’ve never really liked Spurs!

There’s the answer for me.

I imagine they are hoping it's UTD. That's for the prestige of the tournament. Despite the fact they've been awful for years.

You can almost hear them cry when the likes of Barca and Real Madrid crash out😂

I think it’s great. Can’t wait to be in the office (Newcastle) next week. I will argue whoever wins has had a better season than Newcastle and watch them have a meltdown 😂
They undeniably will have had a better season.

Won a European trophy and qualified for champions league. That trumps league Cup and qualified for champions league.

Spurs for me. They want Ange gone, but if he wins a trophy and gets them in the CL they’ll have to consider keeping him. Although I don’t think they will.

I actually quite like Amorin, but hate Man Utd, and don’t want them to win anything ever again!

I also think qualifying for the CL if you win it is a good thing. Gives the competition some integrity and some of the bigger clubs actually want to win it.

Maybe it should be that if you qualify via the league and win the Europa League then you get promoted to the CL. If you don't qualify via the league you qualify for the EL.

The thing that seems unfair is that it is an easier route to the CL than a team like Villa have had because they were in the CL and never had the option of qualifying via the easier route.

Well, the Final being in Bilbao famous for being only an hour or so from the Birth place of the Spanish footballing legend Aitor Karanka and, to the football club where he made his name in the game as a young bull. It therefore gives a slight edge to Tottenham in theory, as they have played each other 3 times this season already, with Spurs winning all 3. Thus I will sadly predict a Man Utd win based on Murphy’s Law alone.

Do I care? No. Will I be keen to watch? No. Will I be observing this game from afar, No.

This will be the 6th ever all English European Final and Spurs will have been in half of them. I hope Spurs win it for humanities sake though, Doubt they will personally, the real winners will be Coronation St receiving the biggest viewing figures ever for a Wednesday night in tv history.

I want Man United to win it and put an end to this second season cup win nonsense, 'Big Ange' comes out with.
