Man Utd

There the closest theyve been to relegation from the top division since Alex Ferguson was in charge before signing Palister .
They are taking a huge leap of faith in this new guy Amorim to figure this out for them, long term, which they hope will eventually pay off but jeez, they’ve got some rubbish divas in there who will fall by the wayside as he rebuilds and I expect rashford to be one of them, he doesn’t seem very tactically flexible which is what Amorim needs…..

We could see the lowest place finish for manure in 30 plus years which is always a bit of a joy 🤩

I think initially Moyes struggled adjusting from managing a club where the expectations weren't for them to win every game, to managing a club whose expecatations were to win every game.

Had he been given more time he may have been able to adjust to this better.
I feel he struggled with having to cope with the shadow of Ferguson continually looking at his every move.

Can’t help but love the decline of United.

Over the years, I’ve had to deal with (as I’m sure we all have) Glory supporting United fans whose Uncles, Aunties, Dogs, Daughters Uncle was a “big fan” hence why they support them. Never attended a game or even been to Manchester, yet used to bang on non-stop and be a life long fan.

They were some of the most arrogant and annoying “fans” I've ever met. Their downfall is a thing of beauty.

United are a basket case of a club. Rotten from the top down. Awful recruitment for how many seasons. Never ending merry go round of Managers.

They’re like a text book of how not to run a football club. I love to see it.
Echo this.

I for one love their downfall and the fact their ‘noisy neighbours’ have wiped the floor with them in the last decade has been even sweeter.

Long may it continue that Man Utd fail on their targets.

I know quite a few proper Man U fans (born in Manchester to Mancunian parents😳) who are now just laughing** at the sh*tshow that trundles on.

They must be 3-5 years off City, Liverpool, Arsenal etc. They've spaffed so much money on bang average players it's comical. And resale values......reckon they will recoup much from the likes of Antony?

** As in if they didn't laugh they'd cry.

Could there be a change at the top ?
If some how pep left city could we see Liverpool lead to way . The leagues great planners in Brentford and brighten , could opportunities be created for the non-brands of football in the top 6 ?

Would it have been Ashworths decision to give Ten Hag a new contract? Then sack him a few months later ? Not sure what the DoF remit is.

Or is it more of just player recruitment ?

Wtf that is actually mental he's not been there long at all. Infact they were chasing him for longer than he's actually been there

Apparently it was his decision to extend Ten Haags contract and his decision to sign Zirkzee for the price paid. Those decisions should get anyone sacked.

He was also blamed for not being able to offload Casemiro and or Antony. Now no one would buy Antony but surprised they couldn’t shift Casemiro to the MLS or Middle East.

Still pretty mad to sack someone after a few months whatever decisions he's made considering the big public effort to get him to come in the first place.
