Pauluka and motivator. What a time to be on the board that was.

We were all hanging on his every word and backing this unknown superstar horse from October till the date of the Derby the next year.

Came to the big day and it romped home. Think the board won thousands that day.

I believe he then did similar with a greyhound!

Definitely helped me out as a student.

Great memory there fella - the demented absurdity of some of the posts between GGGG, Del Mar and Wally Falconer was spot on for my sense of humor

I liked some of the alter ego's- Thai_bride was amusing, given that I spent a few years living and working in Bangkok. I absolutely loved Forty Horse. He was a slight exaggeration of a bloke I used to work with.
